Recipe: Vanilla cake


Ingredients:

1. Flour (2 cups)

2. Powdered sugar (1 1/2 cup)

3. Baking powder (2 tsp)

4. Eggs (2)

5. Milk (1/2 cup)

6. Cooking oil (1/4 cup)

7. Vanilla essence (4 drops)

Method:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, and beat them until they double in quantity, and become thick and creamy.

2. Add all the other ingredients and mix well until a batter is formed and no clumps are left.

3. Grease a cake pan with oil, and pour the batter in it.

4. Bake in a pre-heated gas oven for 30-50 minutes (baking time can be increased, or decreased according to the temperature of your oven, or stove).

6. When the cake is completely baked, and when you insert a toothpick, and it comes out clean, remove from the pan on a plate.
